[To answer some questions. Neuenbuerg is less than a mile from Oberoewisheim. Unteroewisheim is another mile or two. The church in Oberoewisheim is Lutheran (Evangelic). The church in Neuenbuerg is Catholic. Anyone living in Neuenbuerg would be in contact with many Catholics. Additonally, there were several Reformed or Calvinist people in the area.]
[When the writing turned very hard to decipher, a new man must have been making the entries. His format differs. He gives the principal date as the birth of the child often down to the hour. Then in so many words he reports the baptism. I am giving, until further notice, the day of birth not the day of baptism. Usually, the difference is one day, occasionally two days.]
