Registration for the 2015 Germanna Foundation Reunion and Conference (July 16-19) is now open. Visit the reunion section of our website for the schedule details and to register securely online. There is also a registration form you may download and fill out if you prefer to mail in your registration. The Spring Newsletter will be arriving in members’ mailboxes with this information soon.
For the reunion, plan to check in at the Brawdus Martin Visitor Center on Thursday, July 16th from 1-4 pm and then head over to the Fort Germanna/Enchanted Castle site where Germanna archaeologist Dr. Eric Larsen will be on hand for informal site tours.
We have a great line-up of speakers for the conference day, which is on Friday (July 17) this year followed by a barbecue dinner at Salubria.
First and Second Colony bus tours planned for Saturday (you must choose which tour) and a silent auction fundraiser at the annual banquet Saturday evening at the Lake of the Woods Clubhouse
It ends with our picnic and annual meeting on Sunday. Again, reunion details, along with registration information and pricing, are now online.
Speaking of our website, you may have noticed we’ve updated the design and layout a little. We did this as more and more of our website visitors are viewing the website on a mobile device, and our new template is now mobile-friendly, making it even easier to check out our website from your smart phone, tablet or anywhere.
As always, thank you for your support. We’re gearing up for our first season of archaeological exploration at the Fort Germanna/Enchanted Castle site, and continuing our restoration work at Salubria.
We’re also working on enhancing access to our Germanna genealogical database, and with better weather, traffic is starting to pick up at the Visitor Center and Germanna’s Siegen Forest hiking trails.
Your donations make this all possible. Thank you!
