The Germanna Foundation office hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The Fort Germanna Visitor Center Museum and Genealogy Library hours are Monday-Friday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm; CLOSED Saturday and Sunday. Advanced reservations (use form above or call us) are required to use the genealogy library. Research time limited to 2 hours. Masks are required in the Visitor Center at all times; please maintain 6 feet distance. Limit of 4 people in the library; 5 people in the museum.
Salubria is available for private tours of maximum of 6 people in one group or one family unit because of COVID19 restrictions. Please make advanced reservations by contacting us. Cost of tour is $10 per person.
The Seigen Forest trail system continues to remain open 7 days a week, during daylight hours. When visiting the trails, please practice “Leave no Trace” ethos and maintain proper social distancing. If you enjoy the trails, consider donating to the Germanna Foundation to help support their upkeep.

The Fort Germanna Visitor Center is located on Route 3 next to the Germanna Community College/Locust Grove campus. Turn into the entrance of the college and make the first right at the “Fort Germanna Visitor Center” sign. NOTE: We are not part of the Germanna Community College but we did donate the 170 acres to Virginia for it to establish the college in 1969.
