Join us on Saturday, April 23rd from 9am-noon as we work to clear away debris from January’s winter storm. Clean-up will include clearing small trees, limbs, and other debris from around the archaeological site and along roads and paths. Other clean-up and maintenance of the grounds may also be needed as we prepare for the upcoming start of our archaeological field season.
Some handsaws, clippers and wheelbarrows will be available on site; please feel free to bring your own if you have them.
Children 12 and up can volunteer with a parent accompanying them (16 and older don’t need a parent with them). A waiver will need to be signed by all volunteers beforehand.
Donuts and pizza will be provided for all volunteers before and after the event!

After all volunteers arrive, we will caravan across Route 3 into Spotswood Estates, turn onto Gordon Farm Road, and travel down the gravel roadway that leads to the site.
