On Friday October 18, Historic Germanna will once again open the gates to Historic Salubria for a special, after-hours Halloween event. Amidst the eerie glow of candles, lanterns, and carved pumpkins, explore the 18th century plantation house in a new light.
Historic Salubria has loomed over the rolling hills of Culpeper County for over 250 years. If you dare, step inside the myths and lore, stories and legends, of Historic Salubria’s compelling past. Join costumed interpreters as they lead you through various mysterious tales weaved throughout Salubria’s history. Hear about farce and fable, truth and tale – all of which make up the storied fabric of Salubria.
Due to the nature of some of the stories, this event is recommended for children ages 12 and up.
Each tour will begin on the hour, with the first tour at 6pm and the last one at 10pm. The cost is $15 per person. Tickets are required, as space is limited.
Tickets will go on sale on Friday September 20 at 10:00am.
Don’t miss one of our most popular events of the year! This is your only chance to view one of Culpeper’s oldest brick homes in a new light – after dark!
