
Exciting news! Germanna Archaeology is preparing for the 2025 dig season, and as a result, we are currently hiring nine (9) positions to grow our archaeology program. Through the BIPOC Historic Preservation Grant, generously funded by the Virginia Department of Historic Resources, we are able to fund two researcher positions – one with a focus on Indigenous history at Germanna and the other with a focus on Black history at Germanna. We will also be hiring two Archaeological Field Technicians, an Assistant Site Director, and as well as four paid internships.
